Students needing a device for virtual distance learning must pick-up and pay their technology fee on the scheduled upcoming dates:
Thursday August 20th 6 PM -8 PM and Friday August 21st 9 AM - 11 AM. All devices will be at the high school commons for checkout.
Enrollment for high school Virtual Distance Learning will be August 6th at 6:30 PM at the high school commons area. ONLY ONE parent may attend WITH their student to complete the application. Please wear your masks (required) and adhere to social distancing protocols. Bring the printed and completed application along with a pen or pencil. If you student (s) has an IEP, a SpEd teacher will contact you to complete enrollment. NOTE: the completed survey does not enroll you student in Virtual Distance Learning.

2020-21 Return to School Plan
The 2020-21 school year will begin as scheduled on August 13, 2020 with extensive safety measures in place. The school district will monitor data related to COVID-19 throughout the school year. Decisions regarding the school calendar or attendance will be based on the most current statistics and with the advice of state and local health agencies. New developments or directives could cause other formats for classes to be considered, please be aware that plans are subject to change if events or new directives warrant.
Traditional Classes
-Resume classes as scheduled August 13, 2020.
-Regular school calendar will be followed
-Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures in place for staff
-Students and staff will have increased access to sanitizer and handwashing opportunities.
-Masks are required on buses, the school district will have disposable masks available, but it is highly suggested that students provide their own mask.
-Masks are optional but recommended for students and staff during the school day. State guidance on this may be coming soon.
-Health Screening Procedures will be in place for students, staff and visitors.
-Students and staff are required to stay home if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
-New Cafeteria procedures to allow for social distancing.
Virtual Classes
-Virtual Classes will be available, students will complete coursework through an online platform.
-The decision to attend virtual classes should be made after careful consideration due to the level of commitment required from parents or guardians.
-Virtual classes attendance will be a semester long commitment, a student will not be able to change from one platform to the other until the end of the semester.

For those that pre-ordered corn, we will have the corn at the AG ED Building on Friday, July 3rd from 7 AM to 4 PM.
The Roland Band will have a fireworks stand beginning Friday evening, June 26th through Saturday, July 4th. It will be located in the gravel lot just west of the Oasis Car Wash on Hwy 64 in Roland.
Roland FFA will be selling corn the week of June 29th at the Quik Stop (Roland Road and Hwy 64). The cost is $20 a bushel if it is pre-ordered (email mlockwood@rolandschools.org) or $22 per bushel on site.
