
Honoring Our Heroes: Veterans Day Celebration
Join us for our Veterans Day Assembly at 10:00 AM in the Ranger Dome as we come together to honor and thank those who have served our country. This special program is open to all community members, and we warmly welcome all veterans and their families to attend.
Following the assembly, veterans and their families are invited to a complimentary lunch in the Middle School Cafeteria, beginning immediately after the program.
Let’s show our appreciation and respect for those who have given so much in service to our nation. We look forward to seeing you there!


📣 Important Game Day Procedures for a Safe and Enjoyable Experience! 📣
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone at our upcoming game, we ask all attendees to please take note of the following procedures. We appreciate your cooperation as we work together to create a positive environment for our students, athletes, and fans.
Entry Protocol:
All attendees must enter through designated gates: the Southeast and Southwest Ticket Booths only.
Bag Policy:
For security reasons, no bags will be allowed inside the stadium unless they are medically necessary. Any permitted bags will be subject to search upon entry.
Student Supervision:
Students in Pre-K through 8th grade must be accompanied by an adult to attend the game.
All students, Pre-K through 12th grade, are required to remain in the stands during the game. Roaming or gathering in common areas will not be permitted.
Exit Protocol:
At the end of the game, we ask that all attendees exit the stadium immediately.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we put these measures in place. Together, we can make this a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone in our Roland community!


Due to predicted rain, we’ve made some changes to our Senior Night ceremony and game times for tomorrow's football game against Kingston:
🏆 Senior Night Ceremony will now begin at 5:20 PM
🏈 Kickoff will be at 6:00 PM


Our 4th and 5th grade gifted and talented students had a blast yesterday! They teamed up to build catapults to save the turkey, enjoyed a fun read-aloud of How to Catch a Turkey, and completed an accelerated reader test. What a day of creativity, teamwork, and learning!




Roland 6th-8th graders showcased their creativity at the “You Build It Challenge” at ICTC Sallisaw on November 1! This year’s theme, “Presidential Homes: Past or Present,” inspired our students to build impressive designs using popsicle sticks.

This mornings event was a an unrelated incident. OG&E confirmed that a transformer blew on campus. It was a very unfortunate accident in light of the recent occurances. Roland Police and other agencies were outside on the grounds as part of our safety procedures and heard the sound. Thay called for an immediate lockdown and we complied with their request.
All students and staff have been and continue to be safe. We will continue our school day with increased presence of law enforcement as reassueance for everyone. All students are currently doing well and proceeding with classes inside their respective buildings. You will be able to sign out your students if you feel compelled to do so. Please understand that this could cause a traffic log on campus . Agian, we hope that you see Roland Schools efforts to keep our students and staff safe. Safety is always our #1 priority.

For precautionary measures and the safety of our students and staff, the middle school and JV football game scheduled for today, Tuesday, 10-22, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding.

At this time OHP has cleared the campus. Students will be allowed back on campus to retrieve their belongings until 9 PM tonight and again tomorrow between 8 AM and 2 PM. Thank you for your cooperation. Roland Public Schools with the direction of the OHP, OSBI, FBI and local law enforcement have taken every measure to ensure the safety of everyone at Roland Public Schools.
