After much consideration and guidance, we are rescheduling this week’s football game to Thursday night, Nov 3rd at 7 PM. The safety of our coaches, players, staff, fans, officials and visiting team is our main priority. Our plan is to hold all Senior night activities as normally scheduled prior to the game. Roland Middle School would like to congratulate our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade football players on an outstanding season! These boys finished the 2022-2023 season undefeated and we couldn't be prouder of them.
We would also like to wish our 8th graders luck as they begin high school next year! They've sure made the most out of their last middle school season.

On October 28,2022 students from sixth grade to ninth grade particated in ICTC's 5th Annual You Build It Contest. Students built their dream houses out of popsicle sticks and competed against schools from all across the county.
The seventh grade team of Sadie Daws, Rylee Stubbs, and Jozlynn Williams won first in their division and overall grand champion. Each member of the team won a sander for the school and gift cards for themselves.

Roland FFA officer team and sponsor Myron Lockwood have arrive at the National Convention in Indianapolis. They have a full schedule of leadership and learning in all things Agriculture. Have a great time and as always it’s an honor to have Roland Schools represented on a National stage.


Our middle school students have been working hard on their houses for the upcoming ICTC You Build It Contest that some of them will be attending. We enjoy seeing our students be creative and wish them the best of luck this week!
We would also like to thank Indian Capital Technology Center in Sallisaw, Oklahoma for hosting this wonderful event.




We are excited and proud to announce that Roland Schools has been awarded $10,000 for new Prevention Programming Curriculum through the School Counselor Corps Grant. Thank you to our amazing counselors for their diligent work and willingness to continue their knowledge to provide resources for our students. Protecting and providing educational resources for students of all ages is our top priority.

This past week Mrs. Sutterfield's Science Lab classes were learning about physical and chemical changes. Carving pumpkins was the perfect opportunity for the students to experience physical change first hand.

Roland Middle School Robotics have recently started working on their robots for the upcoming competition season. Last year Roland Public Schools had three teams make it to VEX Worlds in Dallas, Texas. We hope this is another successful year for our kids in this wonderful program!

It is with great sadness that Roland Public Schools announces the loss of Mitchell Roberson. Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, October 11. He had been a valued member of our team since last school year and will be truly missed. Please keep Mitchell's family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
