This mornings event was a an unrelated incident. OG&E confirmed that a transformer blew on campus. It was a very unfortunate accident in light of the recent occurances. Roland Police and other agencies were outside on the grounds as part of our safety procedures and heard the sound. Thay called for an immediate lockdown and we complied with their request.
All students and staff have been and continue to be safe. We will continue our school day with increased presence of law enforcement as reassueance for everyone. All students are currently doing well and proceeding with classes inside their respective buildings. You will be able to sign out your students if you feel compelled to do so. Please understand that this could cause a traffic log on campus . Agian, we hope that you see Roland Schools efforts to keep our students and staff safe. Safety is always our #1 priority.

For precautionary measures and the safety of our students and staff, the middle school and JV football game scheduled for today, Tuesday, 10-22, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding.
At this time OHP has cleared the campus. Students will be allowed back on campus to retrieve their belongings until 9 PM tonight and again tomorrow between 8 AM and 2 PM. Thank you for your cooperation. Roland Public Schools with the direction of the OHP, OSBI, FBI and local law enforcement have taken every measure to ensure the safety of everyone at Roland Public Schools.

Our Middle School and High School runners had an incredible showing at the Checotah Meet, where over 100 runners competed in both the boys and girls races!
Runners were placed into groups of 15, with the top 15 receiving blue ribbons, the second group earning red ribbons, and the third group taking home yellow ribbons.

Dylan Lowe placed an impressive 9th out of 140 runners! 🏅
The Middle School boys team earned 4th place overall!

Molly Carver finished 2nd in a field of 142 runners! 🏆

Thursday in the high school science lab, we’re mixing things up—literally! We're using dimensional analysis to scale a fudge recipe for a unit conversion lesson. Students are converting ingredients from cups and teaspoons into grams and milliliters, practicing precision in measurement while enjoying a sweet reward. Who knew learning could be this delicious?
Shout out to Mrs. Crowder for generously donating all the supplies to Mrs. Coles classes to make this lab happen!
