Roland Upper Elementary - Yesterday, October 31, the students and teachers dressed up in their Halloween costume. We also had our October Tribe Assembly. Students received several awards for reading, math, and service. The students and teachers had a great time!

Central Tournament Brackets for 6th Grade Boys & Girls • The first games for Roland will take place this evening with the girls playing at 5:00 p.m. and the boys at 5:45 p.m. The bus will be leaving from the old HS gym by 4:00 p.m. and return around 7:00 p.m.
Parents, students, community members! Cherokee Nation is hosting a Flu/covid vaccine clinic at Roland HS. Any participating students will need signed parental permission. All participants may stop by the HS office to pick up required paperwork or call 918-427-4601 option 4 for more information.

Mrs. Crowder's high school FCCLA members came to visit our Pre-K students today. They made plastic cup Jack-o-lanterns. Our Pre-K students love it when the "big kids" come for a visit!

We are taking donations of candy and canned soda for the upcoming Trick or Treat night. Many parents have already inquired about when and where they can donate candy for this awesome event. You can donate candy and canned sodas at our Lower Elementary office starting tomorrow through Monday. We appreciate your support!
Recently, Mrs. Crowder's high school Human Development class volunteered their time to visit our Pre-K classes. They studied our students' fine and gross motor skills while helping the students complete Halloween crafts. We love to see our high school students spend time with our younger grades.

Towards the end of September Mrs. Wise's seventh and eighth grade Science Lab classes started learning about composting while studying hydroponics. They spent days collecting and preparing materials to combine inside a composting bin. They plan to use the compost dirt this upcoming spring to compare hydroponic growth to soil based growth.
