Dear Parents The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our library. Here’s what you need to know about the fair, which will take place from March 27-31 at the Roland Elementary Library. I will send home a book fair flyer that highlights the wide variety of books that will be available at the fair, plus so much more! ● Our book fair offers a cash-free payment option called eWallet. It’s a convenient digital account that your child can use for shopping at our fair. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute, too! We also accept cash, credit cards, and checks. ● Students can shop any day from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ● BOOKS & BREAKFAST! Parents/grandparents are invited to shop at the fair on Monday, March 27th. We invite you to come enjoy a grab-n-go breakfast in the upper elementary with your child then come to the library to shop! ● If you can’t make it to the fair, shop online at our school’s virtual book fair. All orders ship directly to your home and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school. Roland Elementary 3rd grade students, School Resource Officer CJ McGee and Joy all enjoyed the reading of the book, Aero and Officer Mike. After the reading, Officer McGee and Joy were able to do tricks for the students. She got to show them all how she can track scents, find items that are hidden and show how well she can follow commands. As you can tell by the students' and Joy's smiles, they all had a great time!
