Roland Upper Elementary would like to recognize the following students Jaxen Tehee, Laedynn Pribble, Chevy Taylor, Hendryx Dority, Kenna Chandler, Presleigh Smith, Mylee Bennett, Blakely Fowlkes, & Levi Moran. These students received a “Positive Office Referral” during the month of August. Students receive this by exhibiting self control, hard work, a positive attitude, responsibility, teamwork, and honesty.
Roland Middle School would like to thank Donors Choose! Thanks to this wonderful organization we were able to get 125 new pairs of headphones funded for our students. These will help our students during the new academic advisory period that has been implemented. Allowing them to focus on their individual instruction and assignments. We are so grateful for organizations like this that allow us the opportunity to improve our student's educational opportunities.
Mrs. Wise started off her first year in the middle school by enlightening her science and science lab classes with The Wise Clinic. The "Not Everyone Needs a Bandaid" lesson was a perfect way to set the tone for her classes and we loved hearing the kids laughter radiating through her classroom door. Welcome to the middle school, Mrs. Wise! We're excited to have you here.

Beginning today, Monday, August 28, students riding Bus 7 (brown) will all be on one run only. We are condensing both runs down to only one. Parents, please know that this will slightly adjust the arrival times in the afternoons. If you have any questions about this, please call your child's office. Thank you!

REMINDER: Parents of Roland Middle School football players - If your child would like to be part of the Community Pep Rally this evening please have them wear orange and/or black, if possible, and check in with their coach no later than 5:30 pm. They will have their name called and run through the tunnel onto the field. This is going to be a memorable experience and we look forward to seeing you all there!
